If you don’t want to loose out in the war for talent, tune in to learn how to engage feminine competencies in all levels of your organisation!
More than half of Belgian graduates are women, but they still are very underrepresented in executive committees and management positions. Women often occupy ‘soft positions’ that are not valued the same as the ‘hard jobs’. It is not that they lack ambition, but that they deal with more barriers to move forward in an organisation. So how could we stop wasting such valuable talents and finally reach gender equity at work? This is an often asked - but still challenging - question we will address in this webinar.
Creating inclusive job offers, consequently including women in selection committees as well as stimulating internal and external candidates to apply for promotions are some valuable tools. Changing an organisation’s culture towards valuing ‘feminine competencies’ and embedding this new behavior throughout the organisation is much more challenging.
Isabella Lenarduzzi, founder of JUMP, a leading social entreprise working with organisations for more diversity, gender balance and inclusion to achieve an equal and sustainable society, will kick-off with her expertise in employment and gender equality. She has accompanied many organisations on their journey towards gender equality.
We will then move on to a practical case: An Dezeure, who started VRT Jobs - a platform to support internal mobility within the VRT -will shed light on some of the tools the VRT has implemented to reach its targets in terms of gender equality.
Following these two valuable testimonials, we will open the debate with participants.
