We are proud to announce the signing of the first Green Deal in Wallonia on the 9th of January. Make sure you don't miss it. This Green Deal will allow you to contribute to making food more sustainable during the next three years.
Sustainable food is essential for our health and the quality of our environment. That is why we are launching together with a number of partners the first Green Deal in Wallonia: the Green Deal Cantines Durables. Through this partnership between different players, we aim to achieve an ambitious common goal: more sustainable food in one third of the communal kitchens in Wallonia by 2021.
Set up actions in your own refectory(s) or help them implement a sustainable food policy (directly or indirectly via support actions). As a participant in this Green Deal you will contribute to achieving the ambitious and common goal of making at least 30% of Walloon collective kitchens sustainable by 2021!
Join us and participate actively in the transition towards more sustainable food!
Each signatory will take a number of concrete actions to help the refectories and other communal kitchens in the implementation of a sustainable food policy. You can register directly on the official website of the Walloon Green Deal Cantines Durables.
This Green Deal is open to actors from all corners of society: caterers, food producers, processors, wholesalers, company restaurants, schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, crèches, public institutions, associations and NGOs. Come and join us!
