Start Green Deal Sustainable City Logistics

Sustainable logistics make our cities more livable. Through a new Green Deal, you can work together with governments, logistics service providers, branch associations and other actors to make deliveries in our city centres emissions-free.

What?

Flanders is aiming for a low-carbon transport system with a small ecological footprint. City logistics are a crucial lever to achieve this. That is why The Shift is setting up a Green Deal on this issue, together with VIL, VVSG (Belgian Association of Cities and Municipalities), the King Baudouin Foundation, Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB university) and Antwerp Management School (AMS).

Why participate?

During this workshop, we will brainstorm on how to give shape to the Green Deal Sustainable City Logistics. That means you get to be a driving force in defining this Green Deal and its specific targets.

How?

  • We present a draft proposal for this specific Green Deal. You and the other participants get to give feedback and propose changes.

  • Talk with your peers about the initiatives your organisation is already taking, and about potential ones you would want or could take in the future.
