The Shift helps members to make use of the global framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals to map their societal ambitions.

4. Quality education

In inclusive programmes, we use the richness of diversity to create and enhance social networks between young people with very different social or cultural backgrounds. Exclusive programs for target groups allow us to adapt our approach to the very specific needs of youngsters living in public institutions. With our appreciative approach we strive to make the difference for those youngsters.

8. Decent work and economic growth

RISING YOU[th] is een sociale onderneming die zich tot deze ondernemende jongeren richt en in het bijzonder tot jonge vluchtelingen.RISING YOU[th] is ontstaan uit de rijke ervaring van NATURE: enerzijds in het werken met jonge vluchtelingen en anderzijds de jarenlange expertise in het aanleren van touwtechnieken. Dit verhaal wordt echter mee geschreven dankzij de steun van en de samenwerking met belangrijke partners: Sport Vlaanderen, VDAB, Incontrol, Nationale Loterij, Vlaams Agentschap Innoveren & Ondernemen, Iris Anticorrosion, Tec Ict, ...

8. Decent work and economic growth

By our commitment to the Charter ‘Decent Work for All, we recognize the unique skills and talent every person can offer, regardless their gender, age, sexual orientation, cultural or social background, disability, or personal situation. We acknowledge that all actors from different sectors –private, social, public -need to join forces to integrate unemployed people in the labour market and address the obstacles to professional integration. We want to build well-connected ecosystems in which we collaborate to increase social impact. We express our commitment towards Decent work for all, including inclusive recruiting, and we will act in accordance of the charter. This means to us, as an actor of social sector, striving actively to identify beneficiaries that can benefit from partnerships also to understand their challenges in order to connect them with the right actors. Beside this, ours responsibilities include to support the beneficiaries and partners during and after the partnership by providing continuous support and advices and further to ensure knowledge ‘sharing with other parties As one with all actors, we will define and communicate a target and action plan for inclusive recruiting to reflect the diversity of society in the workforce. We will leverage the organization’s resources to have an impact on decent work for all (internships, expertise, volunteering, lobbying, funding). We will contact other organizations to create or join the ecosystem to reach the target for inclusive workforce (recruiting and retention). We will share best practices with other organizations to inforce the ecosystem for decent work. We will report on results and lessons learned to decision makers in the companies and our country.
